Usually it means your car went from a holding area to the port of exit. They use at port and at port of exit interchangeably but only the latter means that you are at Bremerhaven/Zeebrugge waiting to be loaded onto a ship.

Edit: I didn't realize you said ship assigned, this is a first so never mind what I said.. That's really odd. It goes from In Transit to At Port again when it reaches stateside. How long has it been since you first switched to in transit?

It went in transit about 10 days ago which is when I started tracking the ship. The ship arrived in NJ last Tuesday and it went back in status today.

Maybe you made it to the stateside. Did you check the vessel name that they provided to see where that boat is?

Yes. Vessel arrived in NJ July 5th. I guess I will have to wait and see.

That means your car is at the VPC. They use the same "At Port" for both Bremerhaven and the port of arrival. It'll flip to In Transit again when it's loaded on a car carrier to be shipped to your dealership.

Quick update. My car arrived in NJ on July 5th. It arrived at my dealer in NH today. Frozen Deep Grey with red calipers. I will post pics after I pick it up.

Awesome color and congrats! When I ordered my M5C, I didn't know you could get individual colors so I ended going with Dark Graphite. My car status just changed to "Dispatched from Factory" and hopefully it doesn't take too long to get here.

Our cars might be on the same ship. Mine is at port as of 07/14.

It could be, but mine is still showing "Dispatched from Factory", BMW MyGarage may not be as accurate. My car is getting shipped to Texas, so I think it's going to the Galveston port.

invest in Chemical guys matte soap, and Dr.Beasley's matte car care kit.


I also got bmw matte wax for body panels (didn't want ceramic) has worked well for me so far, no stains etc.
