My dealer gave a ridiculous deal to get me out of my 2019 comp so we just closed the deal on a custom order 2021. I loved my Donington but so looking forward to going back to black. Also looking forward to getting the full leather dashboard and the B&W. Both which were missing on my current car.

Tried to get my wife to sign off on the upgraded exhaust but she claims to be still recovering her hearing from F10 Arkapovic days - LOL.

Good deal Wesleyan, I have only seen one LCI M5 in Dallas and it was Brands Hatch Grey. The lack is going to be nice.

Great build - congrats! Mine is coming next month in Bluestone, with the same interior. Similar to you, my wife vetoed the MPE...

Great build! I think I remember you from the F10 M5 world .. my last F10 M5 was BSM and it was great .. bitch to keep clean, however.

My current 19' M5C is SG which is also dark and I highly recommend PPF as it keeps the car looking pristine and super easy to clean.

My car is a lease, and PPF is not cheap, but so worth it IMO if you like your paint to always look perfect.

Also offers protection.

With my current donington grey I didn't have to be OCD with keeping the car clean. However, I am mentally preparing myself for the black color. I have debated PPF vs. ceramic and just cannot justify putting down 4-6K on a 3 year throwaway.

Thank you for the advice though. It is something I have thought about.

Thank you for the advice though. It is something I have thought about.

DG does hide dirt really well. I agree that there's just no point to put any amount of PPF on a leased car.

Congrats! Great build. The Full Merino is awesome and so is the B&W. I'm not an audiophile but the lighting inside the speaker grills just look cool.

Thank you. I was close to pulling the trigger on the carbon roof but I use my sunroof a lot here in Dallas. Plus I figured it would break all the black in the car.

Pretty much identical to my build minus the M Perf exhaust and CF bits.

How the hell are your taxes on $2.4k? My taxes are usually around $6500-7000k in Texas. Are they counting your lease as a trade?

Great build. Black is a daring choice. I couldn't ever be satisfied with black paint. My wifes Cayenne is black and I try to not look to hard as I pass it by in the garage. Black with midrange beige was my second choice for interior on my order. A "hidden gem" on the F90 M5 interior list. Congrats

Tell her the MPE is really not loud (I have it on my car). It really isn’t. The only time it’s loud is on cold start, for all of 15 seconds, then it gets quiet again. Think of MPE as more of a tone improvement than volume. It sounds REALLY GOOD.

I wish I could test it out; there are hardly any M5s in dealer lots in the Dallas area.

Exactly- the lease buyback is helping the tax situation. More than halves the bill.
