BTW - while most east coast deliveries do use W&W as the ocean carrier, mine ended up coming on the K line. Mine also had been on the boat for 2 days when the status on track my bmw switched over to in-transit.

So I had asked my CA when it was at the port and he didn't answer but when it went from in-transit he sent me a screen shot of the carrier and the bill of lading info. From there I could look up the schedule and do all the AIS tracking.

If you know the specific date it went to in-transit status, you can look at the schedules for K line and W&W and figure out which one of them had a ship leaving Bremerhaven around that time (probably 1-2 days before you knew it went to in-transit).

This really varies based on when the car arrives at the port and when the ship it will be transported on arrives and leaves. You also do not know it has left the port until 2-3 days after it leaves.

Where are you taking delivery? (east coast? what city?). If we know that we can probably conclude you're on the K.

Now that you're in transit, your CA should most definitely be able to tell you what ship your on (and give you the bill of lading info where you can verify it w the carrier).

I'd heard on W&W you can use your VIN to look up the car on the ships manifest, so you can try that as well.

Exciting that your car is finally on it's way! Congrats!

Thank you, im in New Jersey. I have to call and find out which ship it's on. I forgot the website where you can track the ship also. Very excited to see the car moving and most likely have it by next month, if all goes well.

I'd bet you're on W&W then - thought NJ cars would go into port of NY/NJ (but I suppose if you're in southern NJ it might be coming in Baltimore).

Im in Woodbridge, NJ. It's right by NY. I'll definitely have to call and find out about the ship. Usually stays in transit for 2 weeks I believe.

Add me to the NJ list as well. As of now I go into production 11/8, and if all goes well I'm estimating a late December delivery (It might even work out to hit Christmas Eve, not a bad gift to myself after 2020/2021)
