Interesting. I don't remember any M DCT or SMG showing this behavior after paddles were engaged. Maybe it is because I haven't driven one for a while.

I think it would be better off staying in manual mode when paddles are engaged instead of going back to drive mode, but I guess such is the nature of ZF slush box. Same phenomenon in the Jag as well.

Because the gear selector is in D @ 30:48. The paddle shift was a manual over-ride and reverted to D at redline. Had the gear selector been in S, it would not shift.

@ 30:03, he pulled the paddle for 3rd then again for 4th. Can hear two clicks.

Yeah there we go, figured as much. Far as I'm concerned there should only be 2 driving modes, D2 and S3 lol. I'm 100% S3 though.
