Burble on startup

I've noticed some cars no matter what will burble/crack/pop on engine start every time. Sometimes my M5 will do it, usually if it's warmed up already from a recent drive and is in Sport Plus engine setting.

Is there a way to make this more consistent? Is it a tuning thing? I love the way it sounds on engine start when it burbles and wish it would do it every time. TIA!

When you get in the car, prior to pressing the brake pedal and "engine start" press "M1" settings (sport plus / sport plus / sport ) and be sure your exhaust button is "on"

Then press the brake pedal, start the engine and enjoy the symphony. If you program the above settings into "M1" it's far less complex everytime you start the car. In fact, it becomes routine.

Only the engine needs to be in Sport Plus.

This is what I do right now! It is more aggressive than in efficient and does have the startup roar but it doesn't always burble. It only burbles when the car was already heated up and I start it again.

It's a stupid want but I'm just wondering if it's as easy as changing some settings in my tune or something to make it burble even on a cold start.

Engine must be warm first. Cold startup won't get the full crackle.

Is it possible the engine has cooled enough to trigger at least some of the cold start lean mixture to heat up the cats and that is responsible for the rough running sounds?
