Expect low HP numbers or a blown motor, take your pick. This platform needs good gas. Be careful of anyone promising big numbers on 93.

All platforms need good gas👍🏽 Although the hp number is a little low its not too far off from competitors. Torque number is where im a little skeptical as far as what the motor can take but i trust this tuner. |

How much timing are they running at that peak torque hit? Looks like they're just ramping the shit out of it.

Look at your torque peak, and how early it is, and then how it tapers off. There's 200ftlbs of torque I'm guessing about 200ish RPM earlier. That doesn't just magically happen, it takes a lot of timing to do that. Keep us posted how long those rods hold up. Find out how much timing the guy is pushing, you can probably datalog it somehow.

Im sure timing is reduced because itl explode if it isnt. Another thing about these so called rods is that some tuners turn off softening knock sensors which will run more timing. This tune is not removing any sensors. Listen i really dont know a whole lot compared to many in this forum. Just trying to research and learn. I didn't just choose to go with this tuner just because. All i can say is i feel good about this tuner. And yes he is a tuner with a legitimate business. People do awful things to these cars and i think it's because alot of people lease them and they dont give a rats ass what happens. I happen to own mine and will for a long time. So far this is what i have; 2500-3000 2.5-3 degrees 4500 6 degrees and goes up from there. Also appreciate your comments and concerns |

Interesting, Keep me posted on how it runs over time. I have a 22 so I can't do a damn thing unless I send my ECU to Russia, and I'm pretty tempted. I too wouldn't send mine to DME and I've already had experience with the modern wave of "tuners" on these cars, so I totally feel you there.

I know this isnt a build thread but im still waiting for decent weather so i can do some dragys before and after.
In the meantime the stealth wrap is 90% complete. Added a pro spoiler, changed the piece between the kidney grills to body color and going to be tinting next, painting the calipers in yellow and changing out all reflectors. |
