Does anyone know where the intake temp sensor is located on these engines??

One thing Ive noticed and in other logs, plus Brad has mentioned, the timing from cylinder to cylinder can be off +/- 5 degrees or more... What is with that, how does it or why vary timing from cylinder to cylinder??

EDIT: @driven Im comparing your datazap log to mine, at the top of 4th gear, ~6800rpm, our boost and timing is pretty similar, however I am traveling at 88mph and yours says 108mph?? How can there be such a difference???
Not sure about the discrepancy in gear vs mph. Post the log link or email it to me.

Attached my friends car (not a racer)
Who also achieved similar times! Only E30 no meth, but he had better DA which makes sense.

HCP Custom Tune + healthy car + drivermod!
Mcc420 knows his car well

Meth yes, but DA doesnt need to be sub zero. Also watch humidity and slope. Anything sub 500DA and you're in the sweet spot. Anything sub -2500DA and you may run slower from air density.

There is draggy runs, check the leader board…

On an official track, 9.94? Mcc420 did it a couple weeks ago. 141-144mph.

There is track runs and draggy runs…

There are Dragy times, domestic NHRA/IHRA tracks, foreign 1/4 tracks where who knows what kind of timing they use. Dragy times are more prevalent because of the app and Dragy leaderboard section. They are also Dragy times accompanied by actual time slips.
Your current leader board is a mix of High high 9s and ultra low 10s from 138-144mph

I’d be happy with 135 mph traps for now, but have not yet tested my 18 M5 with JB4 and 93 plus meth. I do have a dragy but have not used it. Not a lot of flat, straight, unpopulated secondary road and highway in my area so I need to find some good locations

E90 M3 is a terrific car. Handles great, excellent road feel, quite practical especially with 4 doors and fold down rear seats, and an engine that will sing to 8400 (8600 with tune). I modified mine with catless x pipe, intake, tune, and water/meth injection plus suspension parts like wider wheels, bigger brakes, shocks, springs, front swaybar, etc. It was probably making 400 rwhp and should have run 115+ in the quarter.

A few people supercharge them, but I never got around to that. Rods are weak so you can go past about 400 lbs rwtq, but with the short 3.85 diff (manual trans), gearing is multiplied pretty well to make even stock torque seem greater. A few build bigger displacement but you can’t add more than about 10% and it is very costly. The DCT is probably the better choice for transmission, though mine was 6MT.

Much more special, interesting and connected car than the F90 M5, but nowhere near as smooth, fast, practical, and comfortable. I am sure the M5 would smoke it around most tracks as well, but that is not all there is to driving — most people would choose an E9x M3 over an M5 for a track car.

I had the M3 for 10 of its 13 years and 80k of its 110k miles. Both the car and I got older and I was ready to trade the great feel and connectedness of the M3 for a fast, comfortable cruiser like the M5 with auto trans and AWD to put the power down and go through the snow.

It's time for me to take the next step in tuning and or modifications. I'm going to add full downpipes along with a real flash tune. Now the toss up for me is 3.5" vs 3" downpipes? And HCP custom ethanol tune vs Utku custom ethanol tune.

Ohhhhhhh shiieettttt. I have Savu downpipes from Keller, they are 3.5” and a work of art. I had them ceramic coated locally for a few hundred, they were originally stainless steel.

I’d do 3.5” less restriction on a turbo the better.

HCP ethanol tubes seem to be performing the best from what I’ve noticed.

I will be watching closely as this will be my next step (tuning) when the new ecus are cracked.

Im not familiar with Savu? Utku Noa is the tuner for Evolve and a few others. There are some very fast cars running his tune. His experience with built motors and pushing the envelope is attractive. Haven't talked to HCP yet.

Yeah I'm on JB4. I'm trying to be patient and not void the warranty yet. So far I've made it longer than with any previous car lol. But prob won't be able to hold off much longer.

Keller is titanium, coated, pretty sure... These Savu are their sister company they said, stainless steel.. They look identical and I bought them from Keller. He said they haven't advertised them yet.
