Hi, I've recently fitted an android unit to my car and it's seems pretty much OK so far apart from 1 issue. When using android auto wirelessly, more often than not, it struggles to connect to android auto and when it does, it keeps stuttering and dropping in or out when playing Spotify. Rarely it connects perfectly and plays perfectly. When it does its a great device. Has anyone come across this before and known of any solution??

It's purchased from droid uk. It's running Snapdragon 662 and android 11. The software version is KSW M600 V2.0.3 if that makes any sense. |

No idea on that one best to speak to the company you bought from.
Best one is via bimmertech as you don’t need to change the screen for this. Andriod Auto |

The company that sold the device aren't the most helpful I feel. Even though the system works 20% of the time with wireless android auto, they claim I need a cable to get it to work properly. Doesn't make sense. If it works 20%, surely a simple software update or change of settings should sort it

One thing I do notice when I do connect is the message at the bottom of the screen that appears every 10 seconds or so. Unsure what it cannot connect to. When my wife's iphone connects, she doesn't get this message at all and apple carplay works perfectly

Most likely the radio is faulty hence connecting and disconnecting or it’s a firmware issue that can solve it.
