Many thanks to both of y’all. That sealed the deal for me. The car has had a really great background and I intend to carry that legacy forward!

When you have expensive CF bits on the front and rear, and expensive wheels, I'll take all the pictures I can get thanks.

which steps? just removing the headrest and brake cooling covers? i found there there's no need for me to remove the headrest and AFAIK we don't have those brake covers to remove on the M5 / M5 CS.

M5 CS doesn't have the brake vent deflectors.

I would LOVE to remove the "headrest pads", but I haven't been able to locate those screws. Has anyone else found them? It would give my "bulkhead" a little more room.

Haha not that I’m aware of unless you want to mod it like them.

Anyone know if BMW offers different street and track alignment settings like some manufacturers do for their performance cars? Or is there just one spec they recommend?

Not that this actually answers your question but….

I put mine on the rack and my rear camber was actually out 0.3.

1.4 when it should’ve been 1.7.

I was in for my front toe.

I’m pretty sure they will only do alignment setting for the street. They quiver at the thought of people actually taking their car to the track. I can’t see them helping us with camber settings, sadly.

You might be right. But, the street alignment focuses on compromising tire wear vs. grip. I get very very equal tire wear on the track using the street alignment that's stock. This, of course, gives up grip. A great track alignment will result in inner tire wear if run on the street much. This is pretty good from factory.

The day BMW puts adjustable camber plates in an M car is the day we all go to heaven.

I obviously don’t have a CS, nor do I even have CCBs, but I still think it’s somewhat notable that my first squeals started at exactly 6246 miles. We are darn close.

I do have the allegedly new/different pads. I’ve been hearing that even those that have them are starting to squeal in exactly this neighborhood.

Curious if anyone has any intel on the M5CS that’s been sitting at the MB dealership in Scottsdale for a while.

Saw my buddy’s x3m today with them, British racing green. They look pretty good just not as bright and defined as the OEM CS/CSL ones.
