Personally I love the look of fast cars with racks on them, but that is just my taste.

You would be better served with the SeaSucker setup than the factory Thule rack system for a rack you are putting on and taking off regularly. If you are concerned with scratches either have your roof wrapped or use some quick detailer before you mount it. FYI there is more of a risk of scratching the roof installing and removing the factory setup than with the SeaSucker

Thule cross bars are very easy to install.. takes minutes.. I've powdercoated them black on by F85 so it blends in with remaining shadow trim.. taking them apart to powdercoat is also easy btw.. i may do it on the F90 for ski trips

I have the Thule racks with 3 bike carriers. You just use one key to take off the cap covers, then its 4 bolts and I lift the whole thing off as one. 5 mins max.

Once you get it setup the first time, it takes about 10ish minutes to install and get a bike on top. A little less to take apart.

I always take mine off after I use it. I find it's a bit quicker/easier than the Saris Super Bones rack I used to mount on the trunk.

Looking for some wind deflectors. The wind noise is insane.

Mine was fine at 100mph on the weekend for short spurts. Didn't push it more than that - it's pretty loud up there.

Oh, that's good then. 100-130 is usually a good traveling speed for long trips. Is the wind noise really as bad as people say? Some said it's as bad as having the windows open..

I wouldn't say it's quite that loud. You can still carry on a conversation and listen to the radio just fine, which would be difficult at those speeds with the windows down. I find it's not that noticeable below 75mph or so, then starts to howl a bit after that.
