What is the best suprising unknown feature of your 135i/128i?

I just did the PCD last Friday and it got me thinking a little that there are so many little things that are great about this car, many are really not know or talked about in the media... Lets try and get them out in the open, what are you favorite surprise or not widely advertised feature?

1. with my manual transmission, once stopped the break stays engaged for a second after I release it when going into gear... It helps prevent rolling back on a hill, not loner is there a need to use the parking break when starting from a dead stop on a hill...

2. how convenient the voice control phone is... you can say "dial number" "404-808-1231" or even store you own numbers by name... "dial name" "mum"

3. the near seamless switching between HD and FM stations... When HD radio is on and the signal become too weak the radio atomically switches to the FM version and it is fairly seamless... Once the HD version is strong enough it swaps back...

I have a 330i, but the same feature of the illuminated lights under the doorhandles carries over to the 1. I think this feature is pretty cool

The powerfolding mirrors!

The dynamic Xenon

The LED door hadle lights are really cool... The folding mirrors would have been much better if they automatically folded when the car was turned off and came down when the car starts.

The adaptive headlights are my favorite feature I didn't know I was getting.

The puddle lights are cool as well, but not nearly as useful as the headlights.

Wow, good question, as I love so much about the car in general.

One little touch that has been great is that little rocker switch on each of the front seats that helps the rear passengers getting in and out of the vehicle...

The iDrive's climate control, allowing graphic control of each of the air vents.

The NAV's "3D perspective" view in map mode is cool, although I still prefer "direction of travel" mode.

The #442 cupholder... LOL!

I like holding the open arrow in my pocket as I am talking to someone & walking to the car; then the doors open (click)... windows open... then sunroof opens....

I stand there for a few seconds as I talk to them. They quickly realize that's not normal and ask how did you do that? Huh? I says... U know open the car..

Oh I says... Helga my car knows me well...
She knows I don't want hot seats.
I smile, and off I go.

+1, they are great and I didn't expect them to be power on manual seats.

Before I got my car, I was reading posts saying, "CA has spoiled me to the point where I expect my house door to open for me." The entire time I was thinking that you folks were crazy... until I got mine. And now, I'm happy to say, CA has spoiled me to no end... I actually get frustrated when I have to remove my keys from my pocket now! Scary what a couple of weeks can do to your habits!

While being able to roll down the windows and the moonroof with the keyfob is cool, I really like the ability to close the windows and the moonroof with the key. Great little feature.

How are you closing the windows and moonroof with the key? Or did you mean you would really like the ability to close.

I can close my windows and sunroof with CA but I have to be touching the "lock" area on the handle.... I can not close anything with the FOB, it would be a massive safety risk to if you could...

Insert the key into the keyhole on the door handle and rotate clockwise (as if you were locking your car manually) and hold it. The windows will roll up and the moonroof will close.

This works for cars with and without CA.

Why would that be a safety risk? My Audi did it. It was nice to be able to just get out of the car, hold the lock button down, and everything gets shut.

This is not a "feature" but I am very glad only certain people notice the car. I didn't want everyone to get it, and they didn't!

It is exactly what I wanted!!!!

And the drive OMG! even now, that has to be it... the drive!
