what's the going rate for PPF these days?

thinking of doing PPF for the bumpers and ceramic coating after. Being quoted $2500 for the PPF portion.. not sure how that rates...

Mine was $2k for the Xpel front package. Front bumper, hood, mirrors and front sides and A pillars. They didn’t PPF the grille obviously.

They do polish it before applying

Correct. Xpel ultimate plus I think was the name of the product. Xpel is one of the more popular ones, there’s another brand which is good but I don’t remember the name.

We are not talking the entire car here, just the front (hood, bumper, all the way to mirrors). I spent about 5K when I got PPF applied on most of the car (everything except roof, trunk and part of the panel above doors).

I just had 3M PPF(10 year warranty) done on my M5. The Highway Package which consists of the bumper, hood, headlights both mirrors and front fenders. Plus I had the carbon fiber roof done. Total for all PPF was $3500. I paid extra for the tucked around edges version.

Also had 2 coats of 3M ceramic coating(5 year warranty) on the whole car + wheels and calipers for an additional $1500.

"Track package" + roof = 3200 at a locally pretty well known and reputable shop.

Entire front, skirts, wheel arches, mirrors, rear trunk lid and to of rear bumper PPF’d with 10yr film all hand cut and corners tucked plus ceramic coating was 3200 by a very reputable place here.

Wow that is a lot of money. I did a full Xpel for €5000 a month ago. 5 years ago i did a full ceramic coating on my prev car for €1700.

so you paid 6700 EUR which is ~7200 USD or $300 less than him.

Just booked full car Xpel Fusion Plus PPF, Ceramic, wheels ceramic coasted and full Xpel prime 5 window tint and it was 8500.

I paid 1800 for ceramic (whole car) and paint correction

I paid 2000 for PPF on the "Front clip" (mirrors, pilars, hood, fenders, front bumper, splitter)

I got mine for 2k as well, front clip fenders A pillars etc.

That was the all in price from a guy here in Atlanta who does many of the cars for Porsche, BMW dealers around town.
