I was going to say.. a lot of imports seem to have this. Gotta be something with pedestrian standards? But I am NOT a fan. I also think they've extended the overhangs maybe to accommodate a more modular platform and xdrive.

Sounds like I'm one of the few, but I like the looks of the LCI which is perfect because I'm ready to get my '21 order completed in the next week or 2.

Congrats on the new order....I think the timing is right for you..like i am sure it would really irritate you if BMW comes up with LCI2 in 2022..a year after your new purchase.

did you not research the typical timings of these things before buying? The LCI is always a few years after initial release. I ran into the same problem when I bought my 2016 F80. I new the LCI was coming, so I waited for it.

The upside is you have enjoyed your car for a long time now tho!

there will always be a 'new' or 'updated' thing out there. its a bottomless hole that cant be filled. better to not even attempt it
