New Shoes arrived - Titan 7 T-S5 20”
New shoes arrived. Will be awhile till I can get them put on though - covid making the rounds certainly takes a some of the joy out of this spring. I’ll post installed pics when done. Take care out there everyone!
Titan 7 T-S5 20” staggered in satin titanium F: 20x10” +22 @ 22.8 lb R: 20x11” +30 @ 23.8 lb Note: weights reported not measured Great price point for forged, weight and quality I can’t wait to ditch some of that rotating mass of the OEM shoes. |

Me too! I’ll post when installed
I have the base so cannot comment with certainty - Titan 7 were quick with their responses so I would contact them and ask. The wheel dimensions and offsets are specifically made by Titan 7 for the M5 so I would imagine they have made the design fit both iterations base and comp - also the the barrel diameter appears to at least match oem so is should be good for clearance since my stock oem 706m bicolour wheels have the same dimensions as the black oem wheels which can be ordered for the comp. |

Really pleased how the Titan 7 T-S5 wheels turned out - the satin titanium finish does a great job complimenting the donington grey. Pics shown are stock suspension and no spacers - it is an effective one step solution that improves the stance a bit and removed a total of 48lbs / 22kg of rotating mass. Also can really see the rotors and callipers now!

Thx! No plans on lowering at this time. For me at least, I think I would lose too much practicality if I lowered. Thx! |

For the front 285 gives nice stance and had no issues whatsoever. Any larger and I would worry about clearance at extremes of suspension travel. |

Surprisingly I note a significant difference on turn in - feels much more planted and the reduced rotational inertia likely is the reason behind the lighter and more accurate steering feeling. Nose points quicker. I say “surprisingly” because it is such a heavy car after all. The Michelin PS4s grip great as well. However, I must disclose that part of this subjective improvement is no doubt due to fact that I just took off the winter tire set that I had put on the original OEM rims - thus I have changed both the wheels and the tires which makes a direct comparison of only the wheels inaccurate. The dry traction and lateral stability on the winters are obviously not going to be anywhere like my setup now in these warmer temps. Very pleased. If I could do it all over again I probably might even run the 305 width in the rear for a little more of a badass look. One other thing. My old summer Pirelli / OEM wheel setup used to occasionally wheel hop or chirp on 1-2 up shift when using launch control. The Michelin / Titans just bite with no hop or traction break. This is good - makes a special car look and feel even better!

Installed...
Got them installed. Forgot the center caps :-) so ordering those. The ride is great, 285/305. The car does need to be dropped a little but not too much as its my daily. These wheels are so light, amazing.
