You don't have any resonators correct?
Does it sound raspy?
No resonators. And nope. Just louder and more bangs which not a huge fan. Wish someone would learn to code them out like Porsche.
Ok nice!

Have you tried turn off the exhaust button?
That may turn off the bangs and with the the mhd tune at least probably others tune to you can adjust the pops and bangs.
Ya I unfortunately I run in sport+ almost daily so that forces them open and the burbles if I recall.
Yeah then it will burble and bang.
I guess if you want to run in sport+ and have no burble and bangs you have to get a tune with them deleted.
Yup. Just have never heard of anyone cracking that yet (nor why they would put that in an M5 to begin with. Is what it is. I just feel a little embarrassed coming to stop light and gun shots coming out of my ass end. Expecting to see a slammed civic with rims too big for the tires utilizing only 3" of the existing tread. Hahahaha
Hahaha

Oh I would be happy with just the crackle. I used to laugh at all the threads of people complaining when they lost the bangs after some update awhile back. I was excited. But alas I got the update and I never lost the bangs lol

I was hopeful the pipe would be back in stock on 07/29 but the date is now late August. Anyone want to bet how long it will actually take? Hopefully its not going to be another year....

dont hold your breath. Its the game they play man, they just kick the can down the road just enough to keep you hooked.

Any reason not to just go to a custom muffler shop and get them to weld in an X-pipe? Maybe a dumb question, but probably similar in price I would think.

Yeah still waiting on mine. Last I heard from Dinan "We have 36 on back order still and we are waiting on a part that will not be here to mid/end of august. Sorry for the delay. "

Officially cancelled my exhaust order today. Reached out to them after being over a month since any kind of update only to hear they pushed it back another month.

Not looking to play this pathetic game with DINAN again going month to month for a year for something of theirs to arrive. Oh we just are waiting on "one" part to arrive. Just one part. Lol. The utter lack of communication with customers who have orders pending is abysmal and out right unacceptable for a company that USED to be held in such high regard. They have fallen far from the name they are based.

Now where's that MP exhaust that was just for sale. Lmao.

Anyone have one fabricated at a local exhaust shop? If so, what are we looking at for cost? I am about to go that route… thanks

i am going with AWE midpipes or have my local shop fabricate if Dinan delays again past end of September for the xpipe. they should be able to knock these things out fairly quickly IMO.

you can almost guarantee they will bro. I waited from August '21 until July '22 to get mine. Learned my lesson on the exhaust, and cnx the order after the 2nd delay through September.

@Dinan_Engineering I have this installed on my '19, and really dig it. I'm getting a '23 soon, and just curious if there's any issues with this on '23 cars? Assuming it's still a simple install and works fine, but just asking since it's technically listed only up to MY 22 on the product page.

Thanks!

'23 M5 is not an option in the backend database yet but there are no pertinent hardware changes from the 22 to the 23 so the X should transfer over without issues.
