Evolve's Tune results

Thought you guys might be interested. I have been playing with some Evolve tunes the last 2 weeks and gave it a shot at a couple 1/4 mile runs and it put up some really good numbers.

I didn't test stage1 numbers but on stage2 last week I ran a 10.14
This time I put in MS019 and as usual I don't get very good DA and had 90% humidity and 936ft elevation but it is what it is. Same crappy road for all my tunes or piggy so it's nice to compare apples to apples.

The 0-60 is 3rd best for an M5 on Dragy history and the 1/8th mile was 4th best. Not too shabby!

Imran@Evolve , Utku and Mateen are great guys to work with very smooth running tunes and professional company!

93 without DPs is stage 1 and I am not sure

93 with DPs is stage 2 and I ran a 10.14 with that tune on a little more octane. However, Im guessing with full bolt on's most guys would run 10.2 to 10.4

He ran that 10.3 using brake boost and not launch control which cost him some time for sure. Many factors as well including DA, wind, a road conditions.
Also, I believe he ran that 6-9 months ago and the tune has been tweaked and updated some since then I would assume.

No can do, Noelle policy is that if you dyno the car or try to beat any records Dr. Evil will remotely detonate your engine from his office chair at Noelle headquarters

I don't think I would test Noelle if they gave it to me free with 6 super models, the last two Miss Universes and 2 naked angels. lol

The 4 guys we know that have the tune, 3 have never posted results even though 2 of them got a Dragy and one has his car in the shop with all kinds of errors since the tune and is now AWOL.

In the meantime I have posted below 10.1 numbers with JB4, DME, and now Evolve.. lol None of whom claim Noelle numbers and yet all produce. I feel sorry for those that drank the kool aid!

I was sooo looking forward on it.

Props to you for doing all of these comparison though.
Great information to others that are looking on the flash tune.

I can't say anything bad about any of the three. I have run 10.05 or better on all three of them. Obviously JB4 is a little bit of a different animal but a heck of a tool and even when using a tune I still use it for it's other features.

I think tunes have smoother lines and ultimately a bit safer for the car. But for ease of use, price, power, logging, meth control, multiple maps on the fly. JB4 is hardly the loser.

The tunes are great if you can get multiple. I like to get 3 or 4 from the same company so I have different fueling options for different situations. The other big factor for me is getting rid of cold start. My car is stupid loud without it.

Customer service has been great with all 3 as well. Terry and I have multiple emails going 200 deep since November. lol He's probably sick of me but we dialed in some really nice stuff with JB4. Only downside is you don't have phone or chat support.

Moe from DME is awesome and we have become really good friends and talk about random shit all the time. Easy to reach on multiple platforms and solid guy altogether.

Imran too has been great. I have been going back and forth with him for 7 or 8 months before I even got my car. He has a pretty big business and he was never too busy to respond to me even though I had never bought anything from them. Once I did setup on some tunes I worked with him, Utku and Mateen who have all been great!

I have also spoken with the two big dogs at BM3 who have been trying to get my car working on their system for awhile now. They too have been good to work with.

Aside from them I worked closely with Anthony from Weistec and he helped me with the meth setup and I'm using their kit and I wouldn't hesitate to use one of their tunes either.

Any of these 5 companies I would not hesitate to do business with and all 5 have shown to put up good numbers on Dragy and have good reputations. At some point it comes down to preference, driver, and mods and what you're looking for. If you want a daily stage 1 or 2 or do you want a full on drag setup on race fuel. Each company can do it.

Just stay clear of Noelle

How about......

Flash tune is the only choice.

Pump 93 is the only fuel.

No meth.

What’s your poison ?

Do you have DP's?

I didn't use DME's standard tune much. But, I killed it with Evolves stage 2 tune and would use that for sure. It's a great tune.

DME is redoing their stage2 and it should be live here soon but as of now for your situation Evolve.

Very cool. Different platform now, but running 100 cells.

You have brought a tremendous amount of data to the forum. Thanks

Thanks for sharing the times Hockeytyme

We have updated the tune since I was able to properly dragy the car. I have the same version on our demo car for a while now. Just need the weather and my schedule to align so I can do some new runs. Its been very wet here recently!

My quickest 1/4 mile on our earlier Stage 2 tune was 10.27. We have numerous customers faster than that now so I need to up my game.

Imran,

Do you have 60-130 times from your demo car on pump gas only with downpipes and your stage 2 tune?

I found one of my runs from our early Stage 2 on 93 oct on an incline. This is without the TCU tune.
