No More F90 M5 in UK?

The M5 Competition is no longer available on the new car configurator since last weekend.

Anyone know anything about this and if, when it will be back?

The same in Australia, so it looks like they have stopped taking orders for them at least.

A little early to remove it before the next generation i guess so maybe just a chip/parts shortage thing. Plus point is that pricing will be stronger for second hand cars. Worth keeping an eye.

It was reported somewhere the M5CS would plug the gap for a while

The build was completed approx Nov 27 2021. From following various posts it looks like cars in the US get RAM within a 6-8 week range. Unfortunately the dealership here is not able to provide any insight as to when the car may arrive. They think maybe March but admit they really don't know. The funny, or not so funny, things is I was originally told it would be here before the end of December 2021; so I sold my car on that basis. It has been a lesson in patience.

The M5 configurator is still accessible in UK dealerships.
I'm about to sign on the dotted line. Sales assistant couldn't explain why it's not there.

Deciding on what exterior to go for, as some of the older colours are no longer available. Brands Hatch Grey was my preference.
The Sophisto Grey seems to me a good bit darker than BHG.

So it's either Alvite Grey or Marina Bay Blue with Aragon Full Merino, Visibility & Comfort Plus packages. Black Calipers behind the 789's.

I have given up on them after over a 6 month delay! The ship has sailed!

Nice try, but no cigar.

It is back available to order again in the UK.

They must have taken it down to change the colours as the colours have now changed.

Bluestone is back after some years, Brands Hatch Grey is binned in favour of Sophisto Grey and red gone.

Marina Bay Blue, Black Sapphire, Tanzanite Blue and Alpine White continue.

I guess this will affect the second hand market slightly by making the continuing colours more desirable and retired ones less so.

Im glad its back on the configurator. Not so sure on making the old colours less desirable, would rather have BHG than Sophisto, but all personal choice on the colour

Looks like the Alvit Grey is similar to the old Champagne Quartz.....
didn't like the bronze fleck in that one.

Bluestone looks fine although near same as my current DG which isn't a bad thing.

So either MMB, Bluestone or an individual paint similar to BHG.
Thinking Grigio Telesto. Presumably an additional 4k & longer delivery date for that. Don't think that choice will be happening.
Hmm decisions.

So Brands Hatch Grey must be more desirable now as a 'limited edition'..!?

A dealer told me yesterday here in Australia that the M5 is still available through to 2023 and will be stopped just before the new 5 series launch.

Still available to order in UK. I am based in High Wycombe, not too far from London, and can sort out a factory order F90 for you. Soft close doors are about to be 'restricted until further notice' on X5 G05, not sure if F90 are affected by this yet...
