Speaking as someone who has had both cars.......

Unless you daily drive the F90 and back to back it with a Comp you will not notice the power difference.

You're focusing too much on the max horsepower number, which has been deemed really irrelevant since its only 10 hp more than my '21 M5c with CCB's, yet its so much more 'brilliant' or 'amazing'

....it's all about the other factors .. like it has been said before ..the whole feeling of the car .. which I'm sure they went just a little further than strictly suspension like we know , or just stripped the sound deadening as well
look at how they engraved the carbon bonnet. and all of it.

i love it. but i could never mod that special edition ,
i'm sure it is amazing and more fun to look at but I doubt it's ever going to make your hair stand up like I've made mine do for me(unless of course u do my mods) like I said I wouldn't mod the cs and I doubt many people will .. I mean for starters I don't know how i'd keep my gold bronze exhaust tips if I change the exhaust.

It sounds good in the vids but it doesn't do it justice and I still need to get better footage, like from outside.

The exhaust tips aren't gold bronze. They are silver.

I agree that the M5C sound in stock form is rather underwhelming. IMO a set of intakes and a nice exhaust is a must for this car. I feel like that's definitely one area where they held it back to engage more emotions on the CS.

I'm not quite following him either. Is he implying he has a CS, but doesn't know the color of his tips? Also, all that in response to a turbine wheel discussion...

No clue. Although, I don't think he is saying he has one. I think he was saying that if he had one he wouldn't want to modify it.

All I know is, the exhaust tips on mine are stainless.

Do you feel for an LCI car, that a set of intakes and either the MPE or Akro exhaust would make a huge difference? What would you recommend for someone that doesn’t want to go balls to the wall with mods but still wants an aggressive sound? I was considering a resonator delete or MPE, but im nervous about messing with the cats

My car has Eisenmann performance exhaust, Dinan midpipes and RKTunes intakes. Definitely a step up from stock when it comes to sound, and the way at least the competition should have come stock to set it more apart from the regular M5.

I'm a big fan of the MPE. Had it on my M2C and I hadn't realized what a huge difference it made to the sound until I went back to stock when I sold the car.

I'm still a little pissed that the press cars have bronze exhaust tips and mine were stainless steel lol

Oh man this thread went sideways. I’m still curious if anyone knows if the only difference is tuning. Same with the suspension.
