Massaging seats failure - help

I have a problem with the massage function in my drivers seat. The function only works/last 7-12 minutes then it shuts off. I can't press the button in the door, and if I find my way through I drive and find the seat menu it just says off.

When I shut the car off and start again it works again. But then shuts off after minutes.

I've had my auto shop do a reset of the vacuum pump in the seat and the test said everything ok. There hasnt been any fault codes or anything. Hope someone has had the same problem and know what might could be the fix

youre using it too much. too much massage is unhealthy bro. its cutting you off like a bartender.
it could also be doing it bc motors are overheating

if you weigh 200 pounds or more, youre also doing it no favors

LOL> I use mine every time I drive. 2018 car. I am 260.

My A8L massage system failed (underwarrantee) and the shop that fixed it had to send the mechanic to therapy by the time he was done. He took two days. Had to basically rebuild the entire seat. He was not amused.

They need to SWAP OUT THE SEAT.

Oddly enough these seats are pretty complex, unless the repair tech has actual experience tearing one down and repairing it, they are likely going to spend a couple days 'learning' on your car at your expense. Push for "replace the whole seat."
