Out with the Old and in with the New
After 5 months she is here! Stripped down my 2019 (pictured at trade in) and took delivery of this beauty. Now time to get her right! Very excited that I was able to secure an order slot back in late June and option it without hassle. To everyone waiting they are coming! It’s worth the wait.

i think brake squeal is blown out of proportion a little. They wont make much noise. If they do, a quick sprint to 100 and a stab on the brakes and it will be fine

Well I’ve had 3 back to back M’s and all had brake squeal. I came from a motorcycle racing background where we had to bed brakes constantly and I’ve tried everything I can and still have squeal so CCB’s it is for this one!

CCBs now, and they do make some noise, but I'm only at 2,000 miles so far and have lent really pushed the car very hard yet.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!! There is so much truth to this statement that it almost isn't funny. I spend that and then some on my wheels. I have a call into my SA for a quote to replace them with CCBs. At this point, I don't care what they charge as long as the wheels aren't coated in brake dust after 30 miles.

Awesome. I really did contemplate Aragon interior, when i bought my BHG Comp earlier this year, eventually went with Silverstone, but i know i would have been just as happy with Aragon. You will love the CCBs, the feel of them is fantastic, inspire real confidence. Here's mine

OP, Congrats on the car. Great choice in colors!
I can confirm that the CCB's on the 2021+ models are not only damn awesome to look at, they have incredible stopping power WHEN WARMED UP**, NO brake dust, and NO squealing noises whatsoever. I'm 7k miles in. No issues with the above statements. I approve this message FSHNGRY

I have the carbon-ceramic brakes on my 2022 M5 Comp and they are simply amazing. A must-have option in my opinion. Their stopping power and performance are superior to the stock brakes and you get virtually no brake dust on your wheels so your M5 looks cleaner longer.

It actually takes about two minutes to clean each M5 wheel with the CCBs...
Damp cloth, no soap...
