I see no issue with the rear bucket seats. This is a purpose built car, if you want a 5 passenger car then get the M5C. Passengers are over rated anyway. Of course somebody will allude to that being the nail in the coffin for their purported acquisition.
Agreed. Since they went all out with these stiff seats then they may as well bring some road feel back into the steering. Clearly this car is engineered for serious BMW fans.

Ahhhh if only this is what the G80 M3 was like with a manual...4 bucket seats, classier front grille, weight reduction...ugh, that with European Delivery and I'd be more sold on a car than ever before.

Cool spec though!
The seats were borrowed from G80 M3.
The only good part of the G80. Smart.

Well considering they've slapped M's on just about everything

I'd say the CS was born out of pure necessity
Until they start making an M318CS.
It's amazing how many badges adorn our M cars these days. Something Porsche does well imho.

There should be an option on every build sheet to delete all badging

All legitimate points that I agree with. However I will say, 10-20 years from now we may all look back at the G8X and at least appreciate it being the last M3/4 to offer a stick shift and as one of the last models to have an engine/exhaust note. I hope I'm wrong!

For sure, and the G80 has grown on me a little (and I'd order it in black)...but this just excites me. Four bucket seats is so cool!

2024 BMW X7 M60  [10.00]
This car checks every box on my list! Glad I inquired about it with my dealership when it was just a rumor a few years ago. They started a wait list back then and I'm sitting at the top.

Timing couldn't be more perfect with my M3CS lease ending in December! Can't wait!

I desire this beast more than any BMW since the E60 M5.

Exhaust at 11 minute mark. Anyone else think it sounds a bit weak? Maybe OPF?

Haters always gonna hate. Especially now 3 series crowd showed up with G80 talk. Must be a miserable life.

A little disappointed that the only standard paint is BHG though.

Do we think this can dethrone the AMG GT black series from its Nurburgring title? Wishful thinking lol
Nope. But it could get the fastest sedan title though...

Overpriced or not, this thing goes hard. Love the return of the yellow DRLs, and the CS aero bits. Aggressive (especially with the gold wheels), yet not overly tacky like, for example, other recent M products.

I always found special edition M5s to be very cool and this doesn't seem any different - on paper at least. I'm still wondering how that E60 M5 CSL with DCT drives...
Agreed, there's definitely some creative accounting that went into that 230lb figure. But regardless, it's definitely lighter than an M5compeition can be, which is a good thing.
