I will need to see it in person. Other than the nose I think I like my F90 just as much if not better. The direct front view on the new GC looks awesome even in that purple color. Can't wait to drive one.

Where? // disregard, I found it

Hmmmm, the interior calls to me (a lot) but the exterior reminds me of a Kia Stinger... also a lot. I suspect I'll eventually fall for it or will be swayed by the in-person visuals but compared to say the new RS7, its exterior is lackluster.

I went M5 to M6GC and regretted it. The GC has a MUCH smaller interior. Just be aware. Looks awesome though.

Yea, I don't get 4 door coupes. If you need a 4 door, get a sedan, if you want a coupe get one with 2 doors. Its not the best of both worlds, its the worst of two!

I've been going back and forth on this...

Yes, in some ways it's a nicer looking car imo, the interior is nicer in some ways too.

However, can I (we) justify $25k (after options) for a car that has the same driving and performance characteristics, and same infotainment essentially. Plus I think it's 200 pounds heavier.

So I'm not saying No yet, I gotta see it in person...But it's a significant jump in price for no significant bump in performance and tech.

Am I alone in that sentiment?

Too small ... I need / want a car that can comfortably seat 4 adults for long drives ...

Brakes might be a deal breaker. The M8 has the "adjustable brake booster" aka brake by wire, and most reviews are saying the brakes are the worst part of the car. Almost like the answer to a question no one asked.

Huh? I thought the M6GC was much larger interior wise. The 5 series seemed cramped to me.

Saw the M850i GC in person on Monday, the front looked great, they back is awkward and the backseat is too small for anyone taller than 5". I was contemplating how child seats would fit in there and even a booster would make a tight fit.

My consideration lasted 47 seconds.

I came from 6GC to M5...Day i picked up my M5,i set in M850ix and told my wife..i would kill myself if i ordered again such low car, with no space for head..i almost touched roof and im 6 ft tall.
Last friday i set in 8GC,same story...
Also i have one true story..5 years ago when i ordered 6GC,i recieved for 7 days loaner 535xd Msport..same moment i told myself...what an idiot am i? i ordered 25.000 euros more car, that i doesnt feel good inside...
So for me,6GC or 8GC are poser cars...M5 is way better car and choice.
