My new setup is AWE Tuning axle back track exhaust paired with a Dinan Non Resonated X Pipe. LINK TO MY YOUTUBE VIDEO

My last car was a G30 M550i with a custom exhaust - catless downpipes into straight pipes with an x pipe in the mid section. It sounded great.

When I got my F90 M5 I just accepted the fact that the G30 M550i sounded better. I listened to a bunch of exhaust videos online and heard a bunch in person and was not thrilled at all.

To say the least, that theory is out the window. I am in love with the sound of this new setup I’m running. It sounds absolutely viscious in person. Videos don’t do it Justice. But here’s a video

Everything fit and matched up perfectly. I’m of the opinion that matching the Dinan x pipe with this AWE axle back is what gave it the incredibly deep tone it has in person. Really hard to capture the true sound with an iPhone.

Anyways.. here’s the video. Enjoy the 🍩’s too. Oh and, my MAD secondary downpipes arrive this weekend and will be installed on Monday. I’ll report back with an updated video. I’m hoping I won’t get any rasp and I retain the deep sound I currently have.

Sounds really good! How does it sound in comfort with the exhaust button off? Is it low enough that it won’t make your neighbors hate you?

With the exhaust button off the volume is the same but there’s no popping which is nice.

Exhaust button still works. Gets rid of the popping. But there’s no functioning valves like there is with the stock exhaust so the volume stays the same.

MAD secondary downpipes installed. Took the sound to the next level. It sounds insane. Videos simply cannot capture the True Tone and high pitch/bassy scream. Amazing.
