Shoutout to Almaretto

Big thanks to Almaretto on the forums.

No nonsense, remote coding last night.

Before I would have even been able to type in the password, he had already taken control of my computer and was into the work.

Offered other things to change I hadn’t thought of, and was done in record time with everything and more that I could have wanted.

Will definitely go back if other things pop up.

The main thing, the DRL/turn signal thing, I even contacted Bimmercode and other places and they didn’t have a solution.

Kudos!

For this LCI taillight coding I endured 6 hours of fumbling with a coder who hadn’t done it before, in two tedious sessions with no success at the end! He was trying his best and was a pleasant fellow, but I had to finally bail out. I went to a proven quantity for the next try and he was done in about half an hour! It was not Almaretto, but I imagine the pleasure of a fast and efficient coding was just as satisfying. Thanks for adding Almaretto to the list of proven coders, they’re worth it.

What all did you code? I coded my last two M5's, but am wondering what I'm missing out on with this one. The LCI updated a lot of stuff.

What is the DRL/turn signal issue?

I think this is getting the inner white DRL to stay on and white while the outer light blinks yellow when the turn signal is activated.

Yes, you are correct. Success with that.

He also recommended the NGHB euro headlight coding which has been AWESOME!!!

The car automatically puts on high beams and then systematically turns off sections of it to not glare the cars ahead, or the oncoming traffic. While the rest of the high beams stays on.
It’s fantastic.

Also coded the disclaimer off and remote trunk closing without the beeping.

We should do a group code - LOL. I really need to code myself but need an expert to handle.
