Well hello! One of my favorite exterior colors paired with my ABSOLUTE favorite interior option. Great choice. Can't wait to see pictures when the weather has cleared up.
I couldn't help but notice your profile info- Still have the Targa GTS? Is the M5C in addition to, or replacing the Porsche? Would love to hear your thoughts. I've been having the "get another 2 door while you don't have kids" and "get a fast sedan that is an all in one car" back and forth in my head.

So far, figuring out that the ride will take some getting used to. It's more polished than the 911, i.e. not harsh, but the car is quite stiff which means there's some bounce that have been absorbed by other cars I've owned. |

I was beginning to think I was the only one with Tartufo and wood. Get some leather conditioner on it, and you won't have any problems with scuffing or cracking.
The color on your interior shot is the most accurate I've seen so far. It's beautiful! Last edited by TheRealBob; 05-16-2019 at 12:17 PM.. Reason: Added text |

I have the same interior leather color ... if you use any leather conditioner let me know if you like it (as I haven't applied anything on mine yet)

Here's a much better photo that captures some of the majesty of this color. It's quite dynamic though and varies a lot as you move around the car. So a video would be better.
Camera is a Google Pixel3 XL. The phone doesn't actually fit in the charging cradle :-/ Everything in the car is much tinier than my wife's X3... the cupholders (in the console, in the door), the charging cradle, the center console box, etc. A lot of it seems to be due to simple bad design of the enclosures. Nonetheless I've discovered I can jam the Pixel3 in enough that it will still inductively charge. Tartufo is incredible. So glad I got it. Runner up color for me would be a more expensive Individual red or Malachite Green w/Caramel. I was just in the Welt last week and saw a Malachite Green G30 wagon there w/Caramel interior. |

I've used Lexol for years. It won't alter the color in the least, but will make it more supple and soft. I just use the conditioner, and find using a cleaner is unnecessary, because the conditioner does such a good job of protecting the leather.

Awesome spec.
Is it just me, or does the F90 tartufo look better than tartufo in other models? I saw an X5 the other day and the tartufo looked kinda bleh. I saw an M850 and the door leather was a couple of shades darker than the seat leather, which was just dull. I saw pictures of an M850 with tartufo and it also looked like the seats and doors were not the same. Are my eyes playing tricks on me? OP's leather looks rich and nice. |

It may be a moot point, as I don't see individual leather being offered any longer on the M5 in the configurator. |

Beautiful M5C. Can you take a pic or two with the door open showing the champagne quartz with the tartufo? Asking for a friend.
Thanks. 911 looks sharp, too. |

Both cars look great. Color on the M5 is reminiscent of the old "moonstone" which skewed a bit more silver but with similar tones. One of the all time great colors.

After seeing some of the pics on here, I was a bit worried that the Tartufo would look way too orange (and it does here too in some of my more sunlit photos), but ultimately I think it looks great. It's really a deeper, redder brown than (e.g.) Aragon, and has a very rich look to it. I think it works well with the CQ. |
