21" Ride Quality

I'm looking at possibly upgrading to some 21" wheels of some sort (leaning heavily towards HRE vs BBS Fi-R) but curious if you guys who did noticed any difference with the ride. Also what tires are you on?

I just got the M-Performance HAS kit installed and its great - no change in ride quality at all. I do like the ride quality on the M5 Comp as is - I wouldn't want it to be more firm than it is now.

Now before I get accused of being some old man (getting there) no fun having, can't deal with hard cars... I have a Manthey Racing setup in my GT3 Touring.... that is well.. a race car with CF buckets. So I dont' mind it when... I need it. But just to go to work and long distance drives... I love the M5 Comp the way that it is.. also a big reason I am choosing not to go with the M5 CS - because the seats are just uncomfortable.

Thanks in advance

I'm running M Performance HAS and 21" wheels, no complains at ALL, ride quality didn't suffer in my opinion.

Thanks for the responses. I love this car so much. I only mod cars I for sure plan to keep for awhile. I’ll be keeping this car for awhile. Which means 21” wheels are now on the table!

I bought my M5c already modded with KWV4's and 21" BBS's, so I can only speak to how the current ride is… which is pretty damn good.

It handles amazing and not too stiff or harsh.

275/30 & 285/30 Michelin Pilot Sports.
