Anyone tried fitting taller tires like 40 ratio on the f90?

I just found out today that two of my HRE wheels are irrepairably bent. I'm done dealing with this shit. I want to fit taller tires that can handle the roads.

Michelin has PS4 SUV tires 295/40R21 111Y XL BSW.

My plan is to fit those on whatever new rims I buy unless I hear a good reason not to try. Possible that these tires on 21s are too big for the wheel well?

40s on 21s is unlikely to work unless maybe you use narrower tires. I would go to 19” wheels with 40 series for a better ride on the F90 M5.

Stock 19's rear are 285/40/19 about 28"
Proposed 295/40/21 will be about 30.3
as Pbonsalb said I'm not sure you will be able to fit that on 21's.
What size are you currently running with the 21's?

As others have said if you want more sidewall the 19" is your only option. A 21 plus larger sidewall will mess up the speedometer if it even fits. If you want SUV tires get an X5M

X5M is not known to provide a smooth, supple ride.
