335GT arrived after ED in September
It was exciting to pick up our GT this week after a 5-week wait since drop-off in Munich.
The ride on relatively poor New England roads is very comfortable, even with the 19 inch wheels. The I6 is a pleasure to listen to. I miss the Autobahn though. The car seats fit perfectly with plenty of space for the kids' feet. I find the infotainment and technology features really sharp and a huge upgrade over the previous 3 series, which showed its age when compared to Audi. I took a few (iphone) pics this morning on the way to work. |

Congrats, looks great!
Also good to know about the 19" wheels. I live in the northeast as well and was concerned about 19's with the roads. I really think the GT looks best with 19's. The 18's look a little small on it. Out of curiosity what made you go with the luxury line? Was it the styling, preference for non-sport seats, saddle brown option? Just curious I am thinking of what I might replace my F30 sport line with when the lease is up and I am looking at another F30 or the F34. I like aspects of both the luxury and sport lines. The lines are limiting so it's a bit of a pain.

Thanks all!
We chose luxury line primarily for the brown leather, which makes the interior look somewhat special IMO. It's our first blue car and I now like this combo a lot (and we already have a grey/black car). I have to say that I still prefer the look of the M sport version, but it didn't come with the interior or exterior colors we wanted, and I also felt that it stands more in contrast to the elegant/relaxed overall design of the car. If it was my only car, I may have gone with an M sport. But I think that the chrome elements work well with the imperial blue and with the 19' luxury line wheels. I always felt that the look of the 3GT particularly benefits from the 19s. I'm wondering now if this is more relevant on photos than in real. Once we put the 17 winters on I will reevaluate ... Drive safely. Last edited by Germancarnut; 12-01-2013 at 11:05 PM.. |

I was worried our sport line 18's would look undersized after seeing them in real life pictures but they look just right in person IMO. I'm sure 19's look even better in person

Thank you. Still love looking at it and driving it. It's primarily my wife's car, but I come up with every excuse possible to trade cars.

Thanks for the pics!
The car has no problem fitting in the big car seat? How is the trunk space? Is it big enough for a stroller and a couple luggage? Is it future proof just in case another baby comes along? Obviously, I am in the market for a baby mover, but my wife wants an SUV. I, on the other hand, think a car would be more safe and economical. Thanks for any info! |

Trunk has same capacity as the F10 sedan's, which is a huge car. I find it amazing that you can fit a rear facing car seat in there without the need to adjust the passenger seat by much, actually by less than in the X5. I'm not meaning to compare the GT to the X5 in regards to overall space, but for our needs it seems to be big enough for now (2 young kids). |

I did European delivery (ED), therefore timing is a bit different. I ordered our car in June, picked it up in Germany mid September, dropped it off in Munich a week later and it arrived in the US the last week of October.
