Question on TPMS rebuild kit for F30 - compatibility with E90 ?

I'm changing out my style 396 wheels + RFT tires to 400M style wheels (staggered) + Michelin A/S 3 tires.

Purchased the tires in Costco, but they did not know what tpms rebuild kit to use for a 2013 BMW 335i.

They suggested they could probably just use the ones from E90 BMWs. Will that work for the F30? If not, where could I get the right TPMS rebuild kit (preferably quick)?

I don't believe the tpms are the same. Additionally I can sell you 99% new take of continental sport Ssr rft 225 -255 (staggered). Take offs from the 400's for less than the Costco tires. Let me know if your interested. They are very good tires!

I understand the tpms sensors are different...I was actually referring to the rebuild kit (that normally costs anywhere between $2 to $10 depending on where you buy it).

I want to get rid of RFTs due to the harsh ride, so getting rid of my current tires that have plenty of life remaining. Plus can't go for Summer tires since it gets colder than 40 degrees here.

BMW changed their TPMS Valve Stems in 2010 (called Generation 1 before the change and Generation 2 after the change), therefore the Generation 1 rebuild kits will not work for your F30 which has Generation 2 valve stems. It gets a little confusing because E9x's span from 2007-2013, so the TPMS Valve Stem generation change was in the middle of the E9x generation.

For peace of mind, you're better off avoiding the TPMS rebuild kits and replacing the entire OEM valve stem assembly which can be purchased at the dealership or some aftermarket vendors that carry the OEM stems. Hopefully this helps!
