Does anyone know if the Lithium ion Batteries are covered under warranty f90 m5 comp 2022 and only 12k miles on the car

I had a drivetrain malfunction about six months ago when my car was still under warranty and BMW did replace the battery saying it was faulty and causing the error code. They didnt have it in stock so it took about two weeks to get but eventually they did replace it along with the leaking coolant tank
