In general, the twin-turbocharged BMW M’s become very fun after you tune them with bootmod3 or similar and run them on E30-50. The top end power is intoxicating. No American supercharged V8 will ever be able to keep up with this. And this is why I do, and always will, buy BMW M!

no idea, dont have to worry about that for awhile. Not a fan of any hybrid vehicle, so i will likely go used.

As a potential buyer my list is now up to M5, CTS-V or a Macan Turbo I'll probably end up getting the M5. If catastrophic failure happened in these 3 the CTS-V will be ten times cheaper to fix then the others. If I mod the M5 it would probably be a basic piggyback.

Despite that the M5 won their shootout, I can't help but feeling they should have compared the M5C against the others. It's the more appropriate comparison given the AMG version they're using at the very least

Hello. I’m new here, I think this is my second post. I sold my ‘18 CTS-V last month to take advantage of this insane used car market with the intent on getting a CT5 Blackwing. I’ve been on the waitlist since the car was revealed last February but it feels like my hopes of actually getting one are fading. Either way, I ordered a Snapper Rocks Blue over Tartufo M5C instead. My order has been submitted and I’m the second one on the list at my local dealer to get an allocation.

My last 5 cars were American and this would be my first BMW. I’m really feeling it’s time for something different. My last German car was my mkII GTI in the 80s and that was probably my favorite car I’ve ever owned. Anyway, I read about 40 pages in the General forum and made my way though the pics forum too. Glad to be here.
