M5 install info (changing the steering trim )

Just curious i see a ton of info for the actual steering wheel and so on but i just want to swap to the mperformance trim

It just unscrews from the back one you remove the wheel and split it open. Super easy. Plenty of videos on taking the steering wheel apart. Its one of the steps.

Taking the steering wheel off and apart is a fairly easy job. I live in NYC and can help you if you want.

what's your forte iirc had a good youtube video about it, i did the same and swapped out the paddle shifters too.
