Hi all, I wanted to share my garage project over the past year or two. I still have some stuff I wanted to do (floor tiles), but it is mostly done. As I started putting in pics, I ended up putting in the bimmers I have had the pleasure to own so far, so bare with all the pics.

Starts with eurodelivery of our first e90 m3, all the way through my current eurodelivery for the f90 m5. I still have a few mods that will have to wait till spring time for the f90, but it is done for the winter. I had purchased a MBB car, but have wrapped in in 3M Storm Gloss Grey.

As far as the garage goes, I finally got a lift installed this fall, and I am happy as a can be! My wife and I did all the work on the garage ourselves, so yes, I lucked out with an amazing wife! I know many of you guys have much nicer garages (and cars!), but I worked pretty hard to put this together and am happy with the results for now. I don't think I will be able to do much else until our three kids are out of the nest, and we are years away from that! Thanks for taking a look and sorry for so many pics.

Edit. Added f90 pics with spacers and summer wheels/tires - 21" hre ff04's with ps4s

That e90's clearance with the roof made my butthole pucker up...

I wasn't sure if I was going to have to remove a section of the ceiling to make it all work, but there is a couple of inches above the m3 and about 5" above the m5! It definitely scared the shit out of me the first time I tried to fit both cars...

I do like the mbb. I think it is the best of the regular colors offered. I had actually wanted to get an individual color for this car but it didn't work out with the vacation dates my wife and I had from work for eurodelivery because it was too close to the model year change. I was trying to decide between Ferrari red or Nardo grey. Then I realized I could wrap the car and protect the original paint at the same time. Ended up going with this color which is something inbetween Porsche chalk white and fashion grey. I'm happy. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but I really like it.

Great post! Love the garage! Have owned/driven all those cars and love all of them!

Curious to hear why you traded in the F80 for the F90 as opposed to the E90?

The e90 was my first m car and holds quite a bit is sentimental value for me. I wanted an m3 since I was 13 or 14 in the early 90's and held off on purchasing it many times in order to make the wiser and mature decision. Also, I'm not that great of a driver yet and am slowly turning it into a track toy. The f80 isn't as easy to handle near the limit for me as the e90. The non-boosted engine is more linear and predictable than the f80 on the track. Honestly, the f80 kind of scared me because it didn't put the power down as easily and was much more tail happy. Plus, the f90 has enough torque to keep me happy for my daily, and then I can ring out the e90 when I want to hear the high end scream of its v8!

Are those tire racks from tire rack? I just got one of them but haven't installed yet. Had any issues with them?

That makes sense. I mean they're both great cars so there isn't really a wrong decision. Either way I think your stable is fantastic! Enjoy in good health!

They are the ones from tire rack and they are great. Just pay attention to how high you mount them as you have to get your wheels/tires up there and it isn't easy getting 50-60 lbs over your head. I'm pretty strong and it is a challenge getting our x5m wheels up. Down is very easy, but up is another story.

Thanks! We think the kids are cute too!

I know the Volvo ruins the garage, but it is functional and the cabin is actually pretty nice. The t8 is actually pretty quick for a car that size too. I actually like it for what it is. It fits 7 fairly comfortably and because it gets used around town mostly, we are usually on electric power. End up getting around 40 mpg due to the hybrid, which helps to combat the 14 mpg I'm getting in the m5 and x5m!

I test drove one and I liked it
You drive your family in Volvo, it's the safest car on the road
