I went with some of the carbon fiber parts, the pro spoiler, and the exhaust.

New to forum after long line of Porsche/Audi. Just pulled the trigger on LCI M5C, with an expected delivery date of early October which I was pleasantly surprised with.

Motegi red

Dealer can see The hold.

Exactly EPA holds. They could be lifted any day. No one I’ve talked with thinks they’ll go past August. Fingers crossed Mike and my car I think are still scheduled for the 13th into Baltimore. We would most likely be out the following week if holds are lifted.

Early cars go through this every year.

Exploring the route of ordering the LCI M5 soon. These may be noob questions, as I've never ordered nor leased a car...

1. Out of curiosity, are you guys leasing or financing your cars? I wasn't sure if you could special order a car if you weren't financing or not

What kind of a deposit did ordering a car to your specs require?

Wondering how this affects down payment and the numbers on a standard lease for a car on the lot.

Couldn't find anything pertaining to this on the thread for deals and info on everyone's experiences.

Reach out to Dan @ Next Level Auto Brokers, that's his thread. I bought two through him, he's easy to work with and the pricing is excellent. I've never done a lease, but you work with the dealer so I believe all the leasing and financing options are available.

i bought it outright (or will be doing so when the car arrives). 2k deposit to use an allocation to spec out a car. This was the same price i did on my F80 when i got that from a dealer in Utah

He works with dealers, i believe they are all on the east coast though but it still worked out better for me even with me shipping the cars from the east coast.

His post explains it a bit better, very responsive though and great to work with.

I reached out to Dan, he never got back to me or answered my questions after the first few exchanges. I ended up going with someone somewhat local. Glad I did!
I'm financing. Deposit of 1000$. I believe lease rates and apr financing rates can be locked in at the time of order through the time the car is delivered ( whenever the best rates are).

You pretty much negotiate the price of the car as if the car is on the lot. Agree to a set price plus any incentives that may come on a MY2021 the month the car arrives. Don't forget the bmw cca discount and the free m track day offer for all 2020 purchases!

The 2021 epa certifications just popped up so hopefully they lift the hold this week.
