Technically you're correct, though a small chip you probably won't see the shitty correction job from a distance. Hence why ppf is a must on frozen cars. The problem is you can't blend and buff the paint to make It all look nice, so you're gonna have splotches of dark spots wherever you try to touch it up most likely
