Owner's Circle...my production # problem
When I enter the production number given to me today by my SA the 330i comes up.....but it's Alpine White....not Sapp. Black. Does this take a few days to sort itself out?

Yes.... when I ordered, my dealer took the spot closest to production in their dealer stock and changed the options to match my order.... Took a couple of days for the color to change on the OC. Like others have mentioned, the 800 number is updated faster than the website.

Marcus, the same thing happenned when I first got my production number..... it showed that I ordered a Titanium Silver 330i. But after a couple of days, it did sort itself. Now everything is fine....it is now showing the Sapphire Black that I ordered.

What about factory ordered options? When I check the order status I now have the correct color (Monaco Blue!), a VIN, but the option window is blank. Should the sport, cold weather and premium packages I ordered with my dealer show up here or am I worrying too much?

No worries guys. The color will not change after a few days your CA put in your order. As for the factory options, they will NEVER show on the OC website. Only the color, the model, and the Vin will show on OC web.

Are you sure LWL? Last year my 5er showed up on the OC with all of my selected options. Have things changed?

I ordered my first car in late Feb, the OC never shows the options on their site even when the car arrived at the dealership. Early May, I changed my mind and re-ordered a car with Navi, and its still the same, no options were listed on the OC web. Over on the bimmerfest board, a lot of people who ordered E90 did not have the factory options listed, too. No one seems to have any problem with it. I believe as long as the production order sheet that your CA gave you is correct, then it should be okay, unless you make a change right before the car gets in production. If you are still worry and concern, why not call the 800 number and ask the reps what's on their database? It will be the most accurate if you checked with BMWNA rep on the phone with your production number.
