Fingers crossed

I too hope it hasn't and after reading an article the Yesturday night I'm quite convinced that the trains that are on rails already will be delivered on time. I think there may be a slight delay to deliveries that have not been loaded onto a train yet.

This is what I was told regarding CN.

As you may be aware, at 00:01 hours Saturday morning, CN put management personnel on trains and in switching yards to continue freight operations across Canada following a strike by the United Transportation Union (UTU).

We are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers and our comprehensive operating contingency plan will assure freight service across our network in Canada during this unfortunate labour disruption. However, train schedules and switching services will be different under the revised operating plan and shippers may experience some delays. As well, during this time some information on the Velocity eBusiness site may not reflect what is actually happening. If in doubt you should contact your CSR for more information on specific shipments, or the service plans for your facility.

Specifically for Canadian customers:

For Car Order the service days on the calendar may not reflect how we will actually service your facility under the revised operating plan.
For Order-in and Release, the "next available service" may not be accurate due to the revised operating plan. You should still release or order-in cars to the next service so that the crew's workorder reflects your desires.
For Trip Plans and ETAs the information may be incorrect or missing due to the way we are actually moving traffic under the revised operating plan. These should correct over the course of the trip.
For Shipment Tracking, using My Shipments or Quick Trace, you may see your cars moving on different routes than normally. Never the less, these tools will reflect the true locations of your shipments so that you can monitor progress towards destination.
Most other tools will not be affected. If you have specific questions on the use of the Velocity tools please contact our hotline at 1-800-361-0198.

Great News! We look forward to the entire story and pictures to accompany it. How long did it take to reach your overly-eager hands () after arriving in Halifax?

SWEET:rocks: that's some good news, Edmonton Bmw has to use the same as bavaria, it wouldn't make sense (I hope).
My salesman still has no news on where my car is.

Well i was at the dealership todya picking up my sunglass tray (ashtray delete). I asked the sales manager and he punched up my VIN on his computer and the last movement that he has is it being discharged from the vessel. Not sure if that it means that the car is still in halifax or his system is not updated. Maybe he is lost, I wonder if another dealership can look up my vehicle for me? So I don't know where I'm at on delivery.

Time will tell.

Hi Guys,

My car arrived on 27 January in Halifax. The dealer in Toronto told me that I could get it last Thursday. Because of the CN strike it was delayed to next Wednesday. I hope there is no more delay. I ordered mine back in early November.

Damm that sucks, my salesman said something like 3-4 weeks after it has been discharged so you should be right around the corner!! Have you spoke to your salesman??

I talked to him but unfortunately with these beotches from CN striking, the CN Velocity system they use to track things isn't being updated so it's a total wildass guess right now.
