Why not? General automotive (non-bmw) talk. You didn't have to click on it if didn't fancy you.
On topic, it's very nice design, but I still prefer the Hyundai sibling. |

US official range estimates are high for anyone driving a performance vehicle (and driving like it is one). The WLTP standard is even worse.
The vehicle looks competitive. There will be lots of choices in a couple of years. |

No discounting the performance, but for the price I'd expect a more exciting looking car. I've seen a handful of EV6s and they just look like any other appliance for people who would rather be doing anything but driving. Even this souped up version doesn't have any visual drama going on.
Then again I'm speaking from the perspective of a niche enthusiast. Majority of people don't care, as long as 0-60 is fast they're sold.

An example where current battery tech is. There is only so much these manufacturers can do right now. The GT has the same 77.4kwh battery pack as the long range. It sacrifices range for performance. You can have either one or the other with a pack of that size. Range is down 104miles compared to LR. It you want range and hp, you a need 95kwh+ battery pack. Then you start getting into the big heavy 5000lbs+ EV’s.
