Anyone experience this at the dealer?

Just a lil rant but i took my car to bmw dealer for scheduled oil change and when i got the car back, my blackvue dashcam was turned off radar was unplugged and fuse for my quick connect ctek charger was blown. everything else was okay though but i find it strange that my "recording after car has been turned off feature" on my blackvue dash was switched off(power magic pro) and my fuse tap for my radar was unplugged and my fuse was blown.

I have had something similar- my dashcam swiveled up towards the headliner when I dropped off my car for a rattle fix.

Simple fix - why not disconnect everything before sending it in?

No need to disconnect, but turn everything off. Even if it's just in for an oil change they're going to plug in and do a diagnostic, and reset the service interval log, and they don't want things beeping and blinking at them when they do.

I don't blame them really. I wouldn't want them to unplug a dashcam but I assume a dealership wouldn't want to chance their reputation going down the drain because a video of their tech doing something they shouldn't pops up on YouTube

Interesting that the fuse for his radar detector was blown though.

Which dealership in Houston? If it was Momentum SW, I wouldn't be surprised.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was BMW of West Houston (Momentum West) either.

Maybe go to an independent mechanic? I've had dashcams in my cars for at least 5 years and they've never been messed with.
