Car cover

What car covers do you guys use? My garage is packed and when I'm driving another car I have to leave the F90 outside for several days in a row. Birds seems to love my bluestone color and attack it non stop. I never use car covers but I'm gonna have to bite the bullet now.

Coverking. I had one for my G30 when I was away for a few months and it fits the F90 just fine. The tail end is a little snug because of the pro spoiler but if I put it on first it is fine. ProTip, if you have the mirrors folded it is easier to put on the cover.

https://www.coverking.com/high-uv-pr...mpetition.html

I don't recall when I bought it but it works really well. I was mostly concerned with the sun beating down on the car which is why I went with this version but it breaths well in the rain too. I also bought one for the Z4 that we keep in the garage. That one is focused on ding protection in the event a broom handle or something silly falls on or grazes that sucker.

Ummm pretty sure I have seen pictures of your garage in some posts around here somewhere. If you need to store one of your other cars somewhere I have room! haha

You clearly need a larger garage. I have a twelve bay garage and am adding two more bays this spring. JK. I do love to see posters who have huge houses with large garages. One can wish? We have three bays. Good enough. I have my Ferrari Enzo in the third bay. I only drive it on July 4th. If it's not raining.

I mean It's packed! It takes me a good 20 to 30 minutes to move the cars from the back and out then all back in!

Garage List
I have this one - as my garage is just too small for my F90 and/or 550i. Plus, my wife uses the garage as a storage unit.

I fully agree! Both the Birds and especially the Bees constantly shit on my Bluestone F90 daily. And now the pollen count being high here in Orlando, it’s practically impossible to keep it clean. Just a couple of hours after un-covering the car, it has a very visible yellow coating.

I think BMW actually makes a really cool looking one for the M5....saw it on the BMW Performance site (was like $500, though).

I realize this is an old post. These are indoor covers just to clarify should anyone be looking to store their car outside.

This brings a whole new definition to packed, you have more cars than half of the dealerships in their inventory lol. Your garage says a lot about the M5 when someone who has cars like you do still goes for one as their daily driver. I went through your posts after seeing someones comment saying that they remember pics of your stable lol. Hope your SP2 and 812 also arrived safe and sound🙌🏻

I heard that unfortunately all car covers scratch your paint. Some people even put the cover on only after a car wash to avoid this, but even then it doesn't prevent it 100%.

I'm curious, why do you use a car cover if you have a garage? I thought that being in the garage is protection enough.
