I purchased some OEM gloss black mirror caps that came off a fellow member's M5C, and decided to go another route and do cf on mine. Both have all tabs, and had only 1000 miles on them when he sold to me.

Full disclosure-- I accidentally scraped one of the two caps when initially opening the box. Just so you have an idea of what it would cost to have them repainted, I've already got quotes ranging between $75 and $125 per mirror cap. Like I said, they look brand new other than the one scrape, so don't sleep on these!

These are priced to sell, as I have no use for them anymore.

Yes sir they fit the regular M5! They're the exact same mirror caps as the base M5, only painted gloss black.

This is for an F80 M3, but should be very similar process:

Here’s the pic below. It’s a very minor scratch, but as I mentioned I’d highly recommend just repainting it. No big deal.
