When you say most, what's your statistical sample size? C'mon, you're asserting that most share your opinion but in reality you have no more of an idea than I do. There are lots of threads with lots of opinions and it seems pretty split to me:

https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1615105

My3rdM3 are you planning to track the car (road course, I mean)? Again, this is just curiosity, not a sales tactic.

// EDIT: my bad--I'm inadvertently taking this thread wayyyy off-topic; apologies.
Definitely not planning on tracking this car, it’s just an aesthetic preference... how many cars offered for sale have the option of a carbon roof. I don’t see anything “wrong” with the moon roof though!

Doesn't seem like a low enough payment for a 10K lease.

Have you seen the thread where the guy is selling his lease on a brand new 2019 M5 Comp? His comes in at just over $1000 if memory serves.

insane deal!!! had to jump on it
$118,560. M5 Comp driver assistance , executive package.

$1120.00 . This includes tax in at 7% here in fla. 36 months 10K year. had the car 6 months its Alpine White/Black / black wheels . black side decal bmw performance. nice pop on bottom of car. looks great. I may be putting up the car on swapalease soon. moving back to NJ fro Fla. and wanting an X5 M50. AWD. so if anyone interested within a month or so let me know. will require some money down as the payment is extremely low for a comp M5.

No loyalty in March on F90 M5's... only the M8 variants.

There is 2500 finance cash but you dont want that mess.

i don't ever do MSD. But given 8700 in MSD here, i wouldd expect a little more money off the payment.. or maybe i'm not thinking straight..

might as well keep your money and do the 1299.

Ok I’ll bite......what effect does the coronavirus have on putting down $8500 you will get back on a $120k car?

not that CV matters to me but it's 68 bucks a month difference with MSD. totally negligible. i'd rather keep my 8500.

CV is sending the world into recession , no one knows how deep or long , most of us will be affected financially some more than others , so keeping liquid cash at hand at this time is a good idea
but also MSD, since BMW decreased the MF reduction , are not as appealing as they used to be

I guess.....but if $8500 (to save $2500 over 36 months in reduced MF) is going to make a huge difference to someone, they probably would be better off not buying a $120,000 car.

I guessed this was coming
unfortunately we live in a debt driven economy and you will be surprised how many people buy these cars and can barely afford them
You and me don't agree with that philosophy , but trust me this is the exception not the rule
so encouraging someone not to put down MSD and keep some liquid cash to have some wiggle room I believe is the right thing to do

I'm definitely not rich. This is definitely by far the nicest car I've ever had. But if you want to know, I got rid of two cars for this one car and I'm saving 200 a month. As far as the 8,750. No it's not all the money I have. I'm probably a little more conservative then others. My wife and I live under our means. I never Stretch myself out. I would rather keep my cash in case I need it. And yeah say things get way worse then we all think. It just a couple more bucks I have handy.

Nope, I get you bud, better to keep it in your pocket then have had it invested in the last few weeks. Ask me how I know
