Yep! I noticed the same engine off & fan running phenomenon with my previous E60 M5 & 550i, F10 M5C and F90 M5C. Also the same with current F90 M5B & the G30 M550i - totally normal.

As much heat as this engine retains, it doesn't seem as bad as my '08 Audi RS4. That car turned the garage into a sauna.
