Dealer messed up color - how to fix before order goes to production

Looking for advice on this one. After a couple weeks of agonizing over the details and lots of assurance that everything would be ordered correctly, my dealership placed the order and put the wrong color in. The line item view shows "special order color" and then the color description and paint code are put in the "notes" section but this part has the incorrect code as well as description. Astonishing! For some reason making a change to this to correct the color is taking forever, I am told "we're waiting for the system to update". The status shows this won't start production until mid December. Is there any reason to panic here? Is it normal for changes to be slow? Anyone else have experience with getting their initial order changed/corrected before production begins?

I don't think you should worry about it, eventually it will get corrected.

it will get sorted out, not to worry. BMWAG still has to get "accept" the order, then it will be official.
