First install in the US on Vic55 F90 M5.
DIY coming soon.
It was really 15-20 minutes install.
Took longer to figure out where to mount it.

Thanks Ben for the install and appt on a Saturday... this is a sweet bang for the buck add. I got to drive it about 40 miles since install and its definitely faster.

Key points I felt:

1. from a dig the car just bangs out the acceleration and the modded exhaust is even more accentuated

2. 60 to about 130 comes faster than before and you can feel the pull.

Im running map 7 with no issues. The boost comes on higher and sticks but I didnt get any heat soak after pushing it for those 40 some odd miles. Ill take more drives to rule out any placebo effects but there is no doubt this thing has a nice gain in power.

It makes a superb car even more enjoyable and the dollar spent per hp is well worth the price of admission. I didnt get the app but its only 50 bucks more and pretty trick in its features.

As far as the App goes, it doesn't have the best ratings on the Apple App store...and many comments say it stopped working after some updates.

RG - can you provide any insight to the App if you have used it yourself. Hoping its not filled with bugs and doesn't work half the time lol

My RC on 7 dropped 0.30 from my 1/8th mile time and picked up 2mph. That's around a 40-50 rwhp gain. Nice unit. VERY easy to install.

Congrats on the time but seems more like 20-30hp. Sounds disappointing compared to the other F90 tuning box results I see posted around here. I read that wastegate control and CANbus are needed for the real gains. Will they be adding those soon?

I might be wrong but he is comparing the RC numbers to his JB4 numbers..... as he has that on right now.

1/8th mile. Not quarter mile. You will not get 0.30 reduction in the 1/8th with 20-30hp.....ever....

I have JB4 and RC on the car now and can switch back and forth as needed.

Both are good units.

I would recommend both depending on your goals.

Both are very smooth power delivery.

JB4 on Map1 and RC on 7 are almost identical in my acceleration tests. Within the margin of error. Both reduced the 1/8th by 0.30. Both added 2.xx mph to the 1/8th runs. Both will reduce the 1/4 by +0.40 seconds.

Both are right at 40-50rwhp as shown by the BMS Dynojet runs on Map1. It is what it is.

If you want a super easy installation, install it and forget it, and the above results, buy RaceChip.

If you want to data log, get EWG control, Canbuss, etc and go beyond the above results, JB4 is for you. You can increase octane and add boost. Very user friendly. Logs very well. If you don't know what you are doing with it.....pop goes the weasel. If you know what you are doing, it will add much more power over the above with better octane, meth injection, etc. Awesome to have great choices.

This is the BMS Dynojet runs at various Map levels:

I am at the blue line (Map 1) on the dynosheet with my JB4 installation. That is also where the RC on 7 will dyno within a very small margin of error if it were dyno'd at the same location, on the same dyno.

I have used the App. It is a very simple switching App, nothing special about it.
It doesn't do data log, just switching on/off, mode changing, and warm-up timer adjustment.
It always been working whenever I open up the App, which is rare since once I am on Race setting, I don't use the app anymore.
