Hey guys...I've been out of the loop for a min...And wanted to inquire about the lease prices.
Do y'all foresee the lease prices dropping to 1100-1200 on these M5s at all in the future? My current f10 m5 lease is up in late December. Would like to pop into an f90 m5 but not at these high monthly payments. Also i read that I'd be able to use the msd option which expires at year end (i currently do not have msd on lease). Is this correct? Wanted to mention my current lease is 980 a month and no money down, but it was a demo car with like 2k miles. Many thanks. |

nobody can tell the future, my last m5 was 1198 a month, due to a 66% residual, if that happens again you can count on low monthly payments. But it isn't happening this year or next i can assure you |

So you do believe that the residuals will not increase by end of year or next year? Total bummer. I realy wanted an f90 m5. So...what would be a good deal in ur opinion. Say non competition, msrp at 110,200. Let's say i want to pay taxes upfront, as well as all fees, 1st month and etc, but no capital reduction money down. My taxes in ny are 8.875%. What would you consider a good and realistic monthly payment? So, i believe that in terms of putting down money like actual capital reduction, each 1,000 down takes off like 30 dollars of the monthly payment? How about that multiple security deposit...is it still in play? Thanks. Sorry about all the questions lol |

You sure that isn't a MY18? Residual on MY19 is 55% for 10k miles/year. MF seems off as base is .00188 for February. Dealer can't go lower than BMW NA base MF.

MF is .00188 $5k is only on 19 non comp models Residuals are 6% off And no dealer is discounting 12.5% on US Delivery and on a lightly spec'd M5. He also only has 1 post ever and this was it (seems odd) lol For 2018's he'd be looking at $4k max credits + whatever discount the dealer is willing to give For 19's he's looking at $5k + dealer discount... Residuals would be either 55 for 19s or 61 for 18s And his MF would be .00188 |

Oh, residuals will increase. Albeit, not very much (for the time being) they may creep up 1% or so while BMW adjusts other figures to compensate. Not sure how NY works, but try and not put the taxes down, roll them in. Hard to say what a good deal would be, the M5 is brand new, and very poor residual as you know, but my best advice is if you have time shop around and be willing to go out of state. Gather up some prices, and go from there. |

Thoughts on this...I’ve come across a 2019 M5 Comp package with an MSRP of $128K. The dealer quoted me a lease payment of $1925/mo including CA state taxes with $5K d/p, which I politely declined. However, if I prepay the lease upfront with one payment, I can get it for $62,000 which comes out to be $1620/mo assuming the same d/p of $5K (includes first months payment). That’s a huge savings but not sure what to think of writing a check for the lease all up front?
