I’m encountering a similar issue. I topped off my June build f90 yesterday afternoon and drove about 20 miles afterwards back to work, gym, errands no problems. Start the car this morning and the fuel gauge says “0 miles left” and a message that the tank is empty. Along with this, all of the future service notifications came up on the display in yellow. Took it immediately to the dealer although it was starting and turning off normally.
Dealer states that they need to replace the entire digital instrumental cluster and had to order the part from Germany. However, after reading this thread I wonder if it’s related to the fuel sensor rather than a faulty instrumental cluster. They did clear the service notifications however the fuel gauge is still reading 0 and the tank is empty. Any input would be greatly appreciated before the dealer attempts to pull out the instrumental cluster! Thanks! |
