Hi all

My 2019 M5C has recently developed the "stalling at startup issue" when warm, which after scrolling through the forum, seems to be related to the LP fuel pump.

She also seems to be not as punchy as when I first got her - 6 months ago, even after adding the Racechip GTS Black. Not sure if this just me getting used to the car or something else. I don't have any gizmo to give me any data so granted it could be all in my head.

My question is, would a faulty LP fuel pump effect the performance?

While I obviously can’t know if your faulty LPFP is affecting performance (you could have other things going on), it absolutely can.

If you can feel this, it’s probably worth a visit to your dealership to check and test.

I had the same issue as you. Replaced lpfp and both issues you have were resolved in my case.

I don't have a code reader... however no CEL.

I had the stumble on start up and loss of top end power. Replaced my lpfp and it drives smoother and top end is way better. My mpg also went up. Just from installing a new lpfp my 1/4 trap speed increased 11 mph😳 I still got the stumble at start up so I turned on the cold start back up and no issues on stumble.
