I saw these, wasn't sure if they would be a close competitor to AA.

Thank You!
The Evolution Racewerks pipes will trigger the check engine light

Does your exhaust come with Carbon tips, or can they be order separately? I’m considering a Remus at the moment. Does the MAD exhaust have the valves as well?

Yes, we offer carbon tips at a very reasonable price difference compared to others. Our exhaust also retains all factory valve operations.

I ended up going with MAD Catted Primary 200 cell high flow primaries with secondary downpipes.
I do NOT get the rasp of full catless and i DO get SOME smell. Over VERY happy with the sound with lack of rasp. Very happy for the price point

Any of the cheap high flow cats (MAD, CTS, RD, ER, etc) will give a CEL. HJS 200 cell and Gesi 300 or 400 cell will not trigger a CEL. I am also aware of one member with FI high flow cats that may also use a mini cat prior to the 02 bung that does not trigger a CEL. I am not aware of any tricks or add on simulators that work. A flash tune can simulate to eliminate the CEL.

The stock cats actually flow really well. One member trapped around 140 in the quarter with stock primaries, plus a custom tune for E fuel.

What specific cel come up? I've gotten the 180001 and 180101. I've seen others with different codes though.

same as day 1. Yes lol. Not AS smelly as fully catless but there is no mistaking that smell is still there. Its not unbearable and very worth it IMO for the price point

Will MAD secondary downpipes throw a CEL? I think that's my next steps but don't want to deal with a CEL

No secondaries, from any company, throw a CEL. The O2 sensors are before and after the primary cats. The secondaries are secondary cats and there is no monitoring of what happens after them so it does not matter whether they are there or not for CEL purposes.

+1

you only have to worry about CEL when replacing the primary downpipes
