Carbahn Full Titanium Exhaust.

I just noticed Carbahn offers the full Cat Back exhaust, but I cant seem to find any other info on them. Any owners on here got any feedback on build quality, sound, and etc?

Thanks

Would like to know as well. Just basing on looks it appears to be similar to those that are offered on Alibaba. Leaning towards a secondary downpipe as it can be easily undone if I don’t like or added to if I want more volume (resonator delete or axle back)

Secondary downpipe is great — you can hear a slight turbo whistle at very slow speeds, which is fun. Not a quick install since some is done from the top in an awkward and tight position and some done from below where the mounting tabs at least on the driver’s side are a pain and the pipes may be corroded into the car back exhaust and take time and patience to disconnect unless you beat on the downpipe with a mini sledge — which risks damaging the expensive and fragile cat. Obviously totally doable since it is one of the most popular exhaust mods.

There is already an X inside the stock resonator and the resonator is pretty small. Probably more sound comes from changing the rear exhaust, but I suppose every bit helps. The Remus cat back to axle pipe looks like a good value at $850, but the only cheap axle back to pair with it is the Megan and it does not have valves. Instead, I would just buy a full cat back valves exhaust rather than go piecemeal. If you insist on spending $5k or $8k, it’s your money to spend, but you can get an exhaust that will perform just as well for $2k or less.

I'm convinced your reply doesn't answer any questions here 😂

As mentioned above (more above), this is Chinese rebrand, similar to those for $2300-2500 on that site (that we should mention less IMO)

Did a Chinesium for an M8 few weeks ago, uploading a video of a few revs.

This one was cat back only, still had his cats and it was music to my ears. I’ve heard literally every setup on thr F9x platform but this was a first one for me.

Oh and install was a breeeze compared to the SS systems, however there’s still a few things to look out for if buying direct.

an exhaust is an exhaust. they all sound pretty similar at the end of the day (assuming all SS vice Ti). only real concern for me is the quality of metal used from a chinese brands. it may sound good because the engine is responsible for 90% of that, but if it begins rusting within months that's a non-starter.

I can report back in the spring since I am driving my CSZ titanium valved exhaust on salted roads in the New England winter. The sound is fantastic — quiet cruising in Efficient mode but get on it in Sport Plus and it has a mean snarl, with no drone at any rpm/speed I have driven in 250 miles so far.

I do think the lighter titanium amplifies the oils and bangs compared to the heavy stainless stock exhaust. I am hearing them under circumstances where I did not notice them before.

Thanks for the input but I decided to be the test dummy. It's sitting at BMW right now for the install, but it looks to be very well built!

If you want some good pics of your car and install you can see it on Reddit lol.

How many hours did they charge for the install? Looks great.

Fit and finish of the exhaust is pretty badass, the sound from the outside is quite knarly with a deep V8 sound to it. Im a little disappointed on how much of the noise is actually coming back to the cabin. Maybe the car is just to well insulated even for a CS , but that could be a good thing.

BMW charged 5 hours of labor but my buddy is the service GM.
